We’ve had the opportunity to work at some amazing wedding venues in the Toledo area and thought we would create a list of some of our favorites. Make sure to set up a trial run to ensure you are on the same page before your wedding day. We’ve had a lot of couples choose to have a family member or friend stand as their officiant for a more intimate and personal experience, but you can also hire a local professional to lead the ceremony. There are so many great spots in and around the Toledo area for you to go for your wedding day pictures. We work with our couples to decide which spots make the most sense based on timing, location and style, but a few of our favorite spots are the Toledo Metroparks, Toledo Botanical Gardens or the Toledo Museum of Art, but we also love exploring the streets and buildings of Downtown Toledo.
THINGS TO DO IN TOLEDO
Your friends and family might need activities while they’re in town, whether it’s for a long weekend or a whole week. Our personal favorites are going to Hensville to watch a Mud Hens baseball game, exploring the downtown Toledo Area with Promenade Park, grabbing a drink at the Hensville rooftop bar or Majestic Oak Winery and Earnest Brew Works Brewery.
Sip a latte at The Flying Joe coffee shop and take a stroll through one of the many Toledo Metroparks. In the fall season, take the whole family to MacQueen’s Apple Orchard for a warm cider and apple picking. In the winter season, enjoy the Zoo Lights at the Toledo Zoo. There’s something in Toledo for everyone to enjoy.
