BEST WEDDING VENUES IN TOLEDO OHIO
We’ve had the opportunity to work at some amazing wedding venues in the Toledo area and thought we would create a list of some of our favorites. While this is not a complete list of every wedding venue in Northwest Ohio, these are the places we have grown most fond of.
Whether it be the wonderful teams that coordinate weddings at these particular venues, the beautiful landscaping, unique architecture or the delicious food, the following venues are where you will find us working at the most.
Toledo Wedding Venues
RENAISSANCE DOWNTOWN
We love the Renaissance Downtown Toledo Hotel for multiple reasons. Their suites have huge windows which make for amazing getting ready pics. They are right in the heart of downtown, so they’re close to all the action and provide amazing views from the rooftop and the option for an outdoor ceremony provides a beautiful background with the reflection pond while maintaining the urban setting.
The reception ballroom can accommodate a LOT of people and we’ve seen Mager Designs do some absolute magic transforming the space. To top it off, the lobby and rooftop bar provide lots of natural light for two extra spots for indoor photo ops!
Our hot take: If you’re looking for a great location downtown that provides a classy, modern feel for pictures, this is your place.

NAZARETH HALL
Where to begin with Nazareth Hall! This gorgeous historic building provides a variety of outdoor ceremony spots as well as multiple ballroom spaces each with a unique vibe, making it the perfect all-in-one wedding venue. The team is super friendly and you get your own hostess to help your day run smoothly. While they can handle multiple weddings in a day, they do it well and it is always seamless.
As far as your photos go, this venue provides a plethora of woodsy backdrops, vintage brick walls, a few rolling hills and a breathtaking grotto. To top it off, this is another weather-proof venue! There are some gorgeous spots for indoor photos including their new penny floor elevator and the chapel.

BIRCHWOOD MEADOW
Wanting to go with a more country wedding, but not SUPER rustic? Birchwood Meadow is that modern look, but still has that country feel. Fit to hold up to 300 people, it’s perfect for those that want a big wedding. We recommend hiring a wedding coordinator for your big day to handle decorations, timeline, vendors, etc.
As far as photos, Birchwood Meadow is located right by Oak Openings for wedding party photos and portraits. However, if you’re looking to stay onsite, there are several great options! Their beautiful landscaping and picturesque water feature make for great photo opportunities. We are also obsessed with the grand staircase (inside), which makes for great photos during inclement weather.

TOLEDO COUNTRY CLUB
Toledo Country Club is our favorite country club venue in Toledo. The many windows and white walls make for a bright and elegant setting fit for a perfect garden party wedding. You can utilize the outdoor ceremony spot looking over the Maumee River and continue the party under the lights on the outdoor patio dance floor.
There are plenty of photo-ops on the grounds of Toledo Country Club ranging from the golf course to the river to a nice patch of woods at the end of a big field. This is another historic space with lots of character and we always love the classy vibes.
Out Hot Take: Outdoor garden party vibes, dancing under the stars and watching the sunset on the river? What more could you ask for?

TOLEDO ZOO
Not only does the Toledo Zoo offer several unique spaces to get married including a ceremony in the beautiful gardens or reception where the backdrop for your head table is the largest aquarium you’ve ever seen. To top it off, your guests can actually FEED giraffes during cocktail hour! Or talk to penguins! Or take a selfie with a sloth!
It’s another all-in-one venue that provides beautiful photo-ops as you walk through the zoo grounds and say hi to all the fun animals and we don’t know what more you could ask for.

INVERNESS CLUB
The Inverness Club is another gorgeous historic Toledo classic. The clubhouse features glittering chandeliers, high-vaulted ceilings, and large windows providing a panoramic view of the 9th and 18th fairways.
You can’t go wrong with portraits and wedding party pictures on the rolling greens of this nationally recognized club. If you’re looking for a wedding that is classic, timeless and elegant, Inverness Club might be exactly what you’re looking for!

TOLEDO ART MUSEUM
What’s more elegant than getting married in the Great Gallery surrounded by the majesty of world-renowned works of art or dancing the night away in the Crystal Corridor of the Glass Pavilion? Bring your vision of class and luxury to life while supporting the arts and giving your guests an excuse to explore our amazing globally recognized art museum.
You won’t have to leave the grounds for pictures as you walk through the beautiful landscaping and utilize the gorgeous walls and architecture of the peristyle for your backdrop.

THE VENUES
If you’ve been looking for more of an industrial chic wedding style, this is your place. Part of the warehouse has been developed into a nice urban ballroom with brick walls, exposed ceilings, etc, while other areas of the building are still half dilapidated...but in a good way!
We’ve taken some amazing photos of couples and bridal parties in this setting and there’s not much like it in the area. You can make this space your own by embracing the urban atmosphere or class it up with some elegant decor. Either way, your guests will love stepping into this once abandoned warehouse.
Our Hot Take: A unique industrial chic warehouse that you won’t be able to match in many other area venues.

SECOR BALLROOM
This space in Downtown Toledo is a great option for couples interested in a Soho loft vibe that can cater to an elegant dinner party or a more industrial evening. Your meal, provided by Registry Catering will be unforgettable and your guests will enjoy cocktail hour in the Secor gallery surrounded by soaring pillars, huge arched windows and walls adorned with local artist’s work.
The lofty ceilings and regal pillars are the perfect balance of raw and polished and the magic we’ve seen come together here is simply breathtaking.
Our Hot Take: Raw, but polished and beautifully historic. A blank slate to make your own with delicious catering and a beautiful gallery to top it off.

THE STABLES
For those of you who are looking for a dreamy barn wedding, this is your place. What was once a horse barn at Wheeler Farms has been converted into a clean and elegant wedding venue with lots of natural light and acres of rolling fields surrounding the building.
The pastures, pergola, charming bridge leading to a path filled with wildflowers and the big barn doors opening up to the outdoor patio covered in string lights means you won’t have trouble finding some gorgeous photo ops.
Our Hot Take: The charming barn wedding you’ve been dreaming of! Located right between the butterfly house and oak openings leaving endless possibilities for you and your guests to enjoy Spring, Summer, Fall and even Winter!

THE BLARNEY EVENT CENTER
We have a special place in our hearts for The Blarney as it was where Brooks and I had our wedding reception! We love the industrial feel with tall exposed ceilings and brick walls. The patio makes for an additional gathering space for your guests to step outside and enjoy the nice weather!
Located in the heart of Downtown Toledo, The Blarney is a prime location with several bars nearby for your after-party and multiple hotels within walking distance.
