MODERN SPRING WEDDING IN DOWNTOWN TOLEDO
MODERN LGBTQIA+ SPRING WEDDING
Love is love, and we felt every single bit of it at Scott and Craig’s wedding.
Their wedding day was nothing short of extraordinary and elegant. Every detail of their wedding day was intentional, which did not go unnoticed. The day started at the Renaissance Hotel in downtown Toledo where the wedding party and grooms got ready. We had to hold back tears watching Scott & Craig help get each other ready with shaky hands and nerves running wild. After they were finished getting ready, we headed upstairs to The Heights at the Renaissance Hotel to get some of their couple’s portraits, and Scott and Craig looked like they belonged in a magazine.
We then went to the Toledo Museum of Art for wedding party portraits. The deep black and white color palette with the soft pink and ivory hues complemented one another perfectly with the contrast of the bright and modern look of the museum. They had a mixed wedding party that included family members and some of their closest friends. The all black look for the wedding party paired perfectly with their modern black and white theme.
Scott and Craig’s wedding ceremony and reception made our modern wedding dreams come true with a black and white color palette and ivory and pink hues. The team at Your Perfect Day transformed Registry Bistro in downtown Toledo to match Scott and Craig’s epic vision.
The elegance of this wedding did not stop there. No detail was left behind, and every single moment of the day felt special. The ceremony and reception provided an ice sculpture with the floral arrangement designed by Ice Creations and live wedding painter Keith Hasenbalg, who beautifully captured their grand entrance as a married couple. The copper and gold cutlery and decorations added warmth to the black and white design and signage by graphic designer Shaytionary Designs. The floral arrangements by Gardenview Flowers and decor by Mager Design pulled everything together, which added lightness and a modern appeal. We can’t forget the desserts, which included over 40 different cookies made by Scott’s mom and aunts, for guests to create their unique dessert.
Check out their wedding film to get a look into their day and how much love was shown through Scott, Craig and their family and friends!
We couldn’t have been more honored to be able to capture Scott and Craig’s big day and celebrate their love for one another. And it was an honor to work with some amazing people.
