OLD WEST END ENGAGEMENT SESSION: TESS & COLLIN

Spring Engagement Session in Toledo’s Old West End

Tess & Collin are the prime example of a couple who THINKS they are awkward in front of the camera, but is in fact absolutely perfect. And this engagement session in Toledo's Old West End is proof. 

(Okay, so we had a couple drinks to start out the evening, which might have helped, but still....I stand by that. PERFECT!). 

I got to hear all about how these two met, start talking mid-pandemic, had their first date mid-snow storm, etc. To top it off, those drinks I mentioned were at THE bar where that first date took place. Truly magical. 

From there, we took a stroll around the University of Toledo campus, which was a really special spot to them in the beginning years of their relationship. Lastly, we made our way to The Old West End. 

And Oh. My. Goodness.

We hung around the Ann Manor, where they lived for the last few years before moving for work. There is just something about the old architecture (just look at those doors and light fixtures), the rod-iron fence and the beautiful spring blooms that made for the perfect setting. Not to mention, Tess was killing it in that flowy floral dress!

We had such a fun evening (right up until it started raining) and I think Collin & Tess would even tell you they had a good time as well! And that is truly the point. When we can just get together and have a good time while taking a few pictures, we have succeeded at having a great engagement session. 

Also, can I just note how lucky I am to be able to call this my job? I get to make friends and hangout with the sweetest couples while doing what I love. With my camera, I get to see a different side of couples. It's a very personal and meaningful connection that I get to make with people and that truly fills my cup. So, thank you Tess & Collin and all of our Swatch couples for trusting me and letting me into your life!
