JESS & BEN’S MODERN BLACK & WHITE WEDDING DAY

Jewish Wedding at the Shomer Emunim Temple in Sylvania, OH

Jess and Ben's wedding was beautiful, classy, and modern really showing their style and personalities. It was amazing getting to work with the two of them and their families as they showed so much love and it really felt like we knew them for years.

Getting Ready

The day started at The Renaissance Hotel in Downtown Toledo for getting ready and their first look. Jess had their moms, her grandma's and all her bridesmaids there and you could tell how excited everyone was that morning. The compliments were flowing that morning and the glow Jess had was noticeable. Jess is super close with her grandmas so getting photos of them in the moment together was tear jerking!

After the first look (which was so adorable the way Ben's face absolutely lit up looking at Jess) we headed to the Toledo Museum of Art for wedding party photos. The art museum was the perfect backdrop for their modern, classy look especially with the black dresses and suits. And can we just say, the wedding party was ah-ma-zing. All the bridesmaids were there to help throughout the entire day. From holding her flowers or dress to flowing out her dress, they made sure that she didn't have to worry about anything.

When taking their portraits we learned instantly that physical touch was a big love language of theirs and you could really see how that connected them throughout the day. Ben was always looking for an opportunity to kiss Jess or just embrace her. They looked at each other as if no one else was around and it was just the two of them in their own little world.

They had a Jewish wedding at the Temple that Jess grew up going to and even had her bat mitzvah at! Ben converted to Judaism before the wedding so it was the first Jewish wedding for both families. The chuppah that they were married under was literally incredible and breathtaking. We've never seen anything like it and holy crap were the florals just the perfect touch. If only you could've been there to smell them, it was insane!

The Reception

The reception started off with a BANG! The entire dance floor was packed when Jess and Ben were introduced. They were surrounded by all their friends and families dancing to get the night going. The dance floor stayed packed the entire night and you could tell that everyone was having the best time celebrating the newly weds.

Getting to be apart of their special day was absolutely amazing and leaving the wedding that night we had the biggest smiles on our faces. They were one of the sweetest couples and constantly saying how lucky they were to have us there, but we were truly the lucky ones. Congratulations Jess & Ben and thanks for letting us be part of your amazing day!
