Hey there! Are you planning your dream wedding?
One of the most 👏 important 👏 decisions 👏 you’re about to make is choosing a wedding photographer. I’m not saying this just because we’re photographers. (Okay, we might be a little biased.)
BUT
Your wedding photos are the ONE THING you will have to look back on for years to come! The one thing that will help you relive your wedding day over and over!

So, let's talk about what to look for in a wedding photographer :)
1. Style.
First of all, it's important to find a photographer who has a style that matches your vision for your wedding day. If you love rich, warm tones, and dark lush greenery then you definitely don’t want a photographer who has all bright and airy photos. Be sure to stalk their gram and website!

We’re not shy about sharing a recent wedding gallery because we want you to see more than just the best of the best images that we share on our feed. 2. Experience is key.
You'll want a photographer who knows how to handle the unpredictable nature of a wedding day and capture all the little important moments that might go unnoticed. Most of you probably don’t go to multiple weddings a year like we do. An experienced photographer will know what to look for and they’ll know to be ready for the unexpected!

3. Personality is also important!
Your wedding photographer will be with you ALL. DAY. So you'll want someone who makes you feel comfortable and relaxed. Be sure to have a phone call or even meet up for a drink to make sure you can have a conversation and feel at ease. If you’re like most of our couples who have not had their pictures taken since high school, working with someone who makes you comfortable is going to make you look and feel your best!

We’re just here for a good time! We can be a fly on the wall, but we also want to partake in the joy and celebration. We want to be right there in the action, joking around with your childhood friends and getting emotional with your family as they celebrate you. In order to do this, we like to spend time getting to know you! From the time you book with us up until we build your album, we are involved! 4. Look for professionalism.
With any vendor, really! You want to work with a photographer who:
A. Is going to respond to your emails in a timely fashion
B. Someone who is NOT going to wear jeans to your wedding
C. someone who is going to edit & deliver your gallery in a reasonable amount of time (aka. You don’t want to be waiting 6 months or even a YEAR to get your wedding pictures!)
D. Someone who has backup equipment, liability insurance, etc. Yada yada…(The boring, but important, stuff!)
