Off-Season Weddings
Gone are the days where weddings were limited to the traditional summer months. Today, couples are tying the knot all year long and we are here for it!! From winter wonderlands to fall foliage, each season has its own charm and appeal.
Warm & Romantic Vibes
The changing seasons bring with them a unique atmosphere and color scheme, adding to the already romantic vibe of a wedding. The addition of bonus decor such as twinkle lights, candles, and warm blankets can take the ambiance to the next level.
All-Inclusive Venues
With more and more all-inclusive venues (ceremony & reception in one place), couples have the option to take advantage of the variety of spots for photos, both inside and out. The winter months even offer a chance for gorgeous snowy pictures!
Some all-inclusive venues in the area are Nazareth Hall, The Stables, Toledo Zoo, The Venues and The Renaissance.
RSVPs Galore
With fewer weddings to attend and fewer travel plans to make, your guests are more likely to give you a resounding "YES" to your RSVP.
Fun with Menu
The change in seasons also brings a change in menus. Winter weddings allow for creative options such as warm drinks (hot toddy, hot chocolate), soups, and stews. Getting creative with your menu will for sure leave your guests talking about how great the food was and dare we say… not your typical wedding meal?? And you won't have to worry about your cake melting in the heat. It’s a win-win!
Vendor Availability
With fewer weddings taking place in the off-season, you'll find that your favorite vendors are more readily available. This is great news for those couples who have their hearts set on a specific vendor or venue.
Tropical Honeymoons
And last but not least, what could be better than escaping to a tropical honeymoon after a cozy winter wedding? The contrast of leaving the cold for some sun and sand is the perfect way to start married life. Plus, it gives you a reason to go on a warm getaway every year on your anniversary!
Overall, weddings are no longer limited to a specific season. Couples are free to choose the time of year that best suits them and their vision for their special day. So, whether you're planning a winter wonderland or a summer beach wedding, just remember to have fun and enjoy the ride!
