WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY FAQS
Here are some of the most commonly asked questions that we hear from couples who are on the search for their wedding photographer. While we truly believe that meeting face-to-face with a potential photographer is the best way to decide if they’re the best fit for you, there are always going to be some basic questions that should be answered. (And we’ve put them all here to help get all that important information in one spot).

WHAT PRIMARY PHOTOGRAPHIC STYLE DO YOU IDENTIFY WITH?
We tend to shoot in a timeless and romantic style as opposed to more light and airy or dark and moody, but overall, our photos reflect our couples, their personalities, decor, style, etc. If you are a couple that likes to be goofy and laugh a lot, that is going to show through in the photos we take. If you want to get creative and try something new with us, we are ready to do that as well! None of our weddings look exactly the same because none of our couples are exactly the same!
HOW MANY PHOTOGRAPHERS DO YOU WORK WITH?
Our team consists of two main photographers, Diana & Claire who you can learn about HERE, but we also work with a network of local photographers in the Toledo area who will second shoot with us from time to time.
DO YOU TRAVEL?
Yes, absolutely! Not only do we love the opportunity to visit and explore new places, it also allows us to tell your story more genuinely. Whether it’s for your engagement session or your wedding, we’re up for the adventure and can’t wait to see where your love takes us!
DO YOU DO DESTINATION WEDDINGS?
Insert another ‘yes, absolutely!’. We’ve had the opportunity to visit Colorado, Hawaii, Florida, Michigan, Maryland and beyond with our couples and we are always up for an adventure in the mountains, on the beach or in the busy city streets of your favorite metropolis.
DO YOU DO ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS?
Yes! We feel engagement sessions are a great way for us to get to know each other and for you to get comfortable in front of the camera. Included in most of our packages, it's the perfect compliment to your wedding day coverage.
HOW MANY IMAGES DO YOU TYPICALLY DELIVER FROM AN ENGAGEMENT SESSION? FROM A WEDDING?
On average, our engagement couples usually see about 50-75 images while our wedding couples usually see 700-1,000. It all depends on time, locations, outfits, etc., but overall, we focus on quality over quantity.
WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON A FIRST LOOK?
While we don’t feel it is our place to guide you one way or another, we have definitely experienced the benefits of a first look. In coordinating your timeline, getting ready earlier in the day and finishing most of your pictures before the ceremony allows you to go right into the reception and celebration without having to rush through all your photos in a limited amount of time.
DO YOU PROVIDE VIDEOGRAPHY SERVICES?
In order to serve our couples the best way we can, we are only focused on wedding photography. We have a ton of great videographers in the area that we love to work with and can recommend!
DO YOU HAVE INSURANCE?
Yes, we have liability insurance as well as equipment insurance.
HOW SOON AFTER OUR WEDDING WILL OUR IMAGES BE READY?
We usually contact our couples about 4-6 weeks after the wedding to schedule their viewing party. Once we’ve edited and processed the images, we have our couples in to build and customize their Heritage Album, making each spread exactly what they want.
DO YOU RETAIN THE COPYRIGHT FOR THE PHOTOS?
Yes, we do retain the copyright of our images. This means that we will be able to use them on our website, social media and for marketing purposes.
WILL OUR IMAGES BE AVAILABLE FOR VIEWING ONLINE?
Yes, we deliver your images via an online gallery that is very user-friendly so you can easily share with family and friends.
DO YOU PROVIDE DIGITAL FILES TO THE CLIENT?
Yes, all of our packages include the digital files available for you to download from the online gallery.
