Urban Ballet Inspired Engagement Session

Almost a year ago, we stood up in front of our friends and family and said 'I DO'. We couldn't have been happier to be surrounded by the the people we love most. One of them being Ryan, one of Brooks' best friends from college. Ryan got on stage at our reception telling everybody how nice of a person I was (blush) and continued to make us laugh by recalling some of the many pranks him and Brooks played on their other friends. I couldn't be happier that Brooks has such a good friend in Ryan, even though I was a little weirded out the first time I heard the "love you" and "love you, too" at the end of their phone call. They might always be each other's first loves, but now Dana and I are in the picture :)

Ryan found himself a super sweet, incredibly fun girl in Dana. We have spent many weekends together exploring Toledo, biking at Kelleys Island, camping, mimosa-ing on Sundays and most recently, conquering Handle Bar Toledo. We are proud to call these two our friends, and we are even more excited for them as they prepare to say 'I do'. The fact that we get to be a part of their big day means everything to us. We are looking forward to many more years of friendventures (did I just make that word up?).

For their engagement session, we knew we had to incorporate Dana's pointe shoes and a few pumpkins. We did just that and we had the perfect autumn day to do it. We are so in love with how these turned out and couldn't be happier that we were able to get this variety of urban beauty and autumn leaves right in the heart of Downtown Toledo. Here's to many years of fun, adventures and mimosas.

We have been keeping busy with engagement session after engagement session these last couple weeks! Keep an eye out for more sneak peeks and blogs featuring Wildwood MetroPark, more Downtown fun, Black Cloister and puppies, lots of cute puppies. <3
