University of Michigan Engagement Session
We love focusing our engagement sessions around what fits our couples best. Sometimes, it means incorporating four fur-babies or maybe pointe shoes. We've explored many areas of downtown Toledo and have made our way up to Lake Erie and down to Dublin, Ohio for the sake of our couples. For this session, it only made sense to hit up the place where Chelsea & Facundo probably spend 90% of their time: The University of Michigan. She works at University Hospital and he will be finishing up law school in a few months! It was was the perfect spot to get to know them better by getting a taste of their everyday lives.
We started our morning at the Nichols Arboretum. Although our session was delayed by a couple of hours due to rain, the clouds quickly cleared up and we were treated to a beautiful sunny sky. Chelsea & Facundo were troopers as we made our way through the woods to find the perfect spot. The new spring blooms were perfect and the sun was pure gold.
From there, we made our way to the Law Quad. The English gothic style buildings that were built between 1924 and 1933 are absolutely breathtaking. Wandering the hallways and tiptoeing through the Library Reading Room was fascinating. I could spend all day exploring this place in awe! Chelsea & Facundo had a wardrobe change to match the elegant atmosphere and I may or may not have heard the Law & Order noise (DUN DUN) in my head followed by a ‘and these are their stories...’.
We had such a great time getting to know these two. We’ll be catching back up with them in July for their wedding at Nazareth Hall, another beautiful historic building! In the meantime, we’ll be sending waves of good vibes to Facundo as he finishes up law school and studies for the bar. These two have such an exciting year ahead and we can’t wait to see where it takes them!
