Urban Ballet Inspired Engagement Session

Ryan found himself a super sweet, incredibly fun girl in Dana. We have spent many weekends together exploring Toledo, biking at Kelleys Island, camping, mimosa-ing on Sundays and most recently, conquering Handle Bar Toledo. We are proud to call these two our friends, and we are even more excited for them as they prepare to say 'I do'. The fact that we get to be a part of their big day means everything to us.

Elegant Wedding at the Luxurious Walden Inn & Spa

We made our way to the beautiful Walden Inn & Spa in Aurora, Ohio to celebrate yet another beautiful summer wedding.  From the elegant dining and reception halls to the luxurious suites, a full service spa, the gorgeous landscaping, horse stables and even a golf course, this venue has everything. Gorgeous Blush and Grey Summer Wedding at Stone Ridge Golf Club

I don't think you could ask for a better backdrop to your wedding day than this breathtaking Bowling Green sunset, except maybe the completely flawless cloud-free September day these two had for their outdoor ceremony. Outdoor Wedding at the Lodge at Hoover Park

Through the engagement session and the communicating in the months leading up to the big day, we really build a relationship with our couples. Ashley & Drew are no different. It felt so natural talking with these two even if it was only via FaceTime and email for the longest time. We found our common interests in music festivals, craft beer, traveling and enjoying life with friends. I knew we were going to have a blast on their wedding day.

Intimate Outdoor Wedding in Northern Ohio

That Saturday morning, we made our way over to Wooster, Ohio where Courtney welcomed us into the home she grew up in. The home where several generations of her family have lived and grown. We can’t imagine the stories this beautiful home would tell if it could talk and we loved that Courtney was able to get ready here, creating even more memories.

Lake Erie Sunset Engagement Session

This didn’t feel like our first time meeting Ashley & Drew in person. After emailing back and forth for months, one FaceTime meeting and a few texts, Sundays engagement session felt more like hanging out with old friends.

Wedding Day Timeline: Alternative to First Look

If you don’t want to see your soon-to-be bride/groom before the ceremony, this week’s post is for you. I said this before and I’ll say it again, we don’t like to push our couples one way or the other when it comes to deciding whether or not to do a first look. The main thing is that you leave plenty of time for photos so you don’t feel rushed or stressed out on your wedding day!
