Nazareth Hall Wedding with Blush and Burgundy Tones
In April, we met Facundo & Chelsea for their engagement session in Ann Arbor where he was finishing up law school and she worked at University Hospital. In just a couple of hours, we got to know them as if we have been friends for years. We learned of the hard work Facundo has put into law school and we are thrilled to be a part of this exciting time as he starts studying for the bar and preparing for the next step in his career. We also saw the undeniable love and support that they have for each other and their willingness to stand by each other through everything.
A few months later, we learned even more about them as we saw the amazing outpour of love and excitement on their wedding day. Family came from as far as Argentina to celebrate and dance the night away. And dance they did!
But let’s backtrack to the beginning of this beautiful day. For a July wedding, we could not have asked for more perfect weather. Sunshine and blue skies with temps in the high 70’s. The breeze was so nice, especially down in the shade of the Grotto at Nazareth Hall.
We started with the gals getting ready. Chelsea has such a calm, warm demeanor and it was no different on this day. There were good vibes all around. As the curls went up and the lashes on, the girls in the room were wowed by Chelsea’s stunning beauty. Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, out came the gorgeous floral barrette. Chelsea stepped into her timeless gown (with pockets!!) and slipped into her sparkly shoes.
By the time the guys were ready, Chelsea was more than anxious to see her soon-be-groom. We snuck away for their first look as the bridal party finished getting ready and enjoyed a few sweet moments before the day continued on. We made our way to the Grotto to soak in its serene beauty before the seats filled with guests.
The ceremony was perfectly fitting for this sweet couple with a string duet playing and a beautiful arch to frame our new bride & groom. Hearing their vows gave us another look into Chelsea & Facundo’s relationship. Their love was more apparent than ever as they looked into each other’s eyes speaking their own words to each other as if nobody else was around. It was a truly sweet and touching moment. One of those moments that remind us why we love what we do.
As the beautiful celebration proceeded inside, we were, again, reminded why we love what we do. The dance party! We had such a blast weaving through the packed dance floor as family and friends crushed the dance moves to Thriller and even Gangnam Style. Our favorite was the dance routine by Facundo’s groomsmen to Hot Stuff. It was clear that Chelsea & Facundo were enjoying a break from their busy lives of studying and work and we were loving being a part of it.
Now, Facundo is back to studying for the bar! We want to wish our new friends a huge congratulations and all the luck in the world with their upcoming adventures. :)
A shout out to the wonderful vendors involved is definitely necessary. Check this team out!
