Nautical Wedding at Grosse Ile Yacht Club
It's been over a year since Brent & Amy's epic lakeside engagement session featuring Lake Erie waves, a gorgeous boat and a stunning sunset. Last weekend, we came back together for their super fun and slightly 'nauti' wedding day. And it was perfect.
These two are in the process of building their life together, literally and figuratively. As they've been planning their nautical inspired wedding, they've actually been building their home right on the shore of Lake Erie. You could say it's close to home for the both of them...in fact, their new home is right next door to Amy's parents house. Which brings us to the adorable story of how these two met.
A few years back, Brent bought the plot of land next to Amy's parents. According to her maid-of-honor, Amy noticed Brent while he was mowing the lawn...without a shirt on. And apparently the rest is history.
It's very clear that these two are head over heels for each other. They mesh well. Making each other laugh and sometimes even laughing at each other all the while never leaving each other’s side. If their unquestionable connection wasn’t apparent as they read their personal notes to each other, or when they first saw each other down the aisle, then it is definitely clear in the way they smile at each other, or the way they move on the dance floor.
It’s always an honor to be a part of a wedding day as sweet, fun and joyful as this one. Brent & Amy’s families made us feel like one of them and we had a blast. Congrats to the newlyweds, thanks for inviting us to get ‘nauti’ with you!
It was a joy to meet and work with some new and talented vendors. Shoutout to this wonderful team!
