Intimate Outdoor Wedding in Northern Ohio
If you’re following along with our summer, you may have seen that we kicked off Memorial Day Weekend with Nick & Katelyn’s wedding at Nazareth Hall. As if that wasn’t enough, we got to continue our summer wedding fun with Courtney & Zac the very next day.
That Saturday morning, we made our way over to Wooster, Ohio where Courtney welcomed us into the home she grew up in. The home where several generations of her family have lived and grown. We can’t imagine the stories this beautiful home would tell if it could talk and we loved that Courtney was able to get ready here, creating even more memories.
We watched the forecast closely as dark ominous clouds rolled in. The last thing we wanted was for rain to ruin this beautiful outdoor ceremony at Quailcrest Farm. As Courtney walked down the aisle with her father, the wind picked up. As nerve-racking as these few moments were, it didn’t overpower the excitement of Zac seeing his bride for the first time or the love and joy that these family and friends felt. And just like a fairytale, the rain held off.
The ceremony was short and sweet and guests were ready to get inside and start the celebration. We shared an absolutely delicious meal catered by Courtney’s cousin and we watched the sunset through the large windows in the back of the room. It wasn’t long before this bride and groom were changing into their Chuck Taylors and hitting the dance floor. They stayed there most of the night surrounded by their family and friends.
The party went on until the music stopped and guests filed outside with their sparklers, forming a line to the baby blue convertible Mustang that drove the bride and groom off into the night. It was such a fun, exciting ending to an equally fun and exciting day.
Courtney & Zac are now on their way back from their 10 day East Coast honeymoon and we can’t wait to hear all about it! Congratulations to the new Mr. & Mrs. Patterson!
