Earthy Boho Meets Elegant Urban for These Two Adventurous Souls

Our friendship started about 5 years ago when Kallie reached out to us to assist and learn about wedding photography. She introduced us to her boyfriend, Alex, and we all quickly became friends. We were drawn to his creative eye and love for adventure as well as her sweet personality and drive to continue learning and creating new things. Not only have they been a part of our Swatch Studios team, but our friendship has continued and we have loved watching them grow as they pursue their dreams.

Exactly one year before the wedding, I tricked Kallie into thinking we would have a girls night making pumpkin fairy gardens. Instead, I led her out into the woods at Oak Openings (where I was supposedly going to take some photos) right to Alex. He had hung up a ton of string lights, got down on one knee and asked her to marry him! She said yes and 365 days later, they were both saying ‘I Do’.

It was such an honor to be a part of this day. They combined their style and passions to create the most beautiful details that told the story of their love for each other and life in general. We loved getting to know their family and friends and are excited to share these beautiful moments.

Kallie and I never did actually make those pumpkin fairy gardens, but I think she’s okay with that. Check out this gorgeous day and leave some love in the comments below!
