Beautiful Fall Wedding in Kent, Ohio

2014 was a memorable year with so many beautiful, fun and wonderful couples. The Fall season was one of the best yet. With such beautiful colors and perfect temperatures, we couldn’t have asked for a more picture perfect setting for a September wedding with bride Amy and groom Kevin. Brooks and I got to travel over to Kent, Ohio for the first time and we absolutely loved it.

Kevin and Amy are such a sweet couple, and we were so excited when they invited us along with their family and friends to share in their beautiful Fall day. They were a blast to be around, and every detail of the day was perfect. The plum dresses tied in perfectly with the lavender, purple and green bouquets. I fell in love with the touch of succulents in the bouquets (so much so, that I am stealing the idea for our wedding). Amy rocked stilettos that were blinged out like I have never seen before, and her chunky pearl necklace added the perfect balance of jewelry to her beautifully simple lace dress.

It was so fun to explore Kent with the bridal party. We visited the Kent Damstopped by a popular bar downtown, Ray's Place, and spent some time on the Kent State campus where Kevin & Amy met. This group was full of smiles and laughter, and we had such a great time with them.

We ended the evening in the Kent Student Center ballroom which was set up beautifully. We loved their version of a guest book using pieces from a Jenga game! As soon as the music started, the dance floor was full. This family knew how to dance and they did just that all night. We even got to witness Amy’s grandfather pass on the dancing tradition to one of her nephews with some AWESOME gold dance shoes, and he did NOT disappoint. With his new gold dance shoes, he rocked the dance floor and got everybody moving.

This wedding was such a blast and we were so glad to have been a part of it. With the combination of perfect weather, beautiful details, outrageously fun people and dance moves that could put Kevin Bacon to shame, the Crawford wedding was one to remember.
